Description

The Magnetic Recording Conference (TMRC) is an annual conference of the IEEE Magnetics Society. This year TMRC 2025 will be held at Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan from 28th-30th July, 2025. The call for papers is now available here.

TMRC digests are eligible for publication in IEEE Magnetics Society Conference Proceedings on IEEE Xplore. Published digests will receive their own digital object identifiers (DOI) and be citeable. Publication of your two-page digest should not prevent you from publishing a full paper later; IEEE journals would only ask that you cite your conference digest.

Full manuscripts can be published in IEEE Transactions on Magnetics (subject to peer review). Papers must be submitted before 14th July, 2025 (tentative) through the Manuscript Central website at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/magconf-ieee. The suggested lengths for contributed (posters) and invited papers are five pages and seven pages, respectively. The maximum paper length allowed by the journal is fourteen pages

Digests should be two pages long and formatted according to the following templates.
MS Word:
If you are using MS Word please do not add any headers, footers, page numbers, or paper numbers. Please remove all comments and history of changes etc. If you are submitting a PDF for publication in IEEE Xplore please ensure that the "PDF/A compliant" box is checked under "Create PDF/XPS" -> "Options".

LaTex:
The Latex template will compile correctly if you have the IEEEtran.cls and related files included with your Latex installation. If you do not have these files please download and unzip the additional files below and put them into the same directory as your *.tex file.
