I recently had a discussion with Darius from E-Utile who was telling me that if I would write in Romanian I would have more visitors on the blog. My answer at the time was that I will continue writing in English despite having little visitors. I have found a solution that makes both parties happy, both myself and the readers who prefer articles written in Romanian.

From now on I will continue writing in English but that will not be all; at the end of each article you will find two recordings, one in English and one in Romanian. You will be given the option to read the text, listen to the English recording or the Romanian one or even all of them. Texts that are filled under Silent Creations and Words Embrace will be the exceptions from the rule, remaining without audio in Romanian or English although it is possible that some articles from Words Embrace to contain recordings if I see it fit.

I hope to please a large number of readers this way and to maintain the same level of quality the blog has had.

More college courses move into the web. Recently, Harvard University started an online course in the realm of Second Life, an online computer game which simulates real life. The course, named “Cyber One: Law in the Court of the Public Opinion” is being held by Charles R. Nelson who says that the course is about “empathic and persuasive argumentation in virtual space”. During the course the students learn the way different media technologies affect the users speeches.

The interesting thing is that you don’t have to be a Harvard student to participate to the classes. Anyone can assist by entering the buildings in which the courses take place; the only disadvantage is that there is a limited amount of seats, so the number of people attending the live course is limited.This is just the beginning.

Imagine a future in which cyberspace is as real as this one, with millions of people living, working and playing in it. Now imagine the new sciences that develop from such a realm: sociology, psychology and many more. The world will be filled with study material as the diversity of avatars (human projections into cyberspace) will increase nourished by the anonymity of the web. Most of the persons will act, look just as their ideal self would so this will lead to more material for psychologists to analyze and new social patterns will emerge.

Of course, this is just a possible path of evolution, but seeing as ever more people tend to go online and join communities (just look at online game guilds, internet forums and bulletin boards etc.) this seems the most probable and logical path.

I don’t know if you love me anymore; I know that I don’t deserve your love… I just want to say I’m sorry even though it’s too late for this; but I won’t let you go!

Today it snowed for the first time this year. You can imagine that this makes me extremely happy for starters because I love the snow and was waiting for it for some time, and secondly because it started snowing today.

What’s so special about today? Well, you may have noticed some posts with numbers as names; well they represent months, or better said the months that passed since I got to be with my loved girlfriend. Well, the day we got together was the 3rd of September (well, it was the night between the third and fourth of September) and this is way I’m so thrilled, because this is the best anniversary present I could get.

I want to thank Porcelain Doll for messaging me and letting me know that it started snowing (this was happening at about 05:40 AM) because I usually get up at 6:30 and at that time the snow stopped falling. Fortunately it started again during this day and even though it can’t settle on the ground because it’s still quite warm the atmosphere is great (or at least I like it).

Besides this, yey, it’s the 3rd, so this makes it 14. Love you my dear, all the best wishes and a pure and white life just as the snow that falls from the sky today.
